How to enbale IIS (Internet Information Services) in Windows.

Hello guys in this post i will tell you about how to enable IIS in windows 7. IIS is free Web server. Internet Information Services is an extensible web server created by Microsoft for use with the Windows NT family. IIS supports HTTP, HTTP/2, HTTPS, FTP, FTPS, SMTP and NNTP. 

Follow these steps to enable IIS in windows:-

1. Press Window+R. It open Run dialog box.

2. Then type appwiz.cpl and press Enter or click on OK. As shown in image below:-

3. Its open Programs and Features, click on Turn Windows features on or off. As shown in figure:-

4. A window will appear on the screen, then check the box Internet Information Services and click on OK. 

It will take some time to apply changes. Now open a browser and type localhost and press Enter. It appear like this if IIS is enable.
